RACKING MANAGEMENT TRAINING

​

We offer both internal inspection training (Rackawareness Training) and maintenance training (Rackaware Maintenance Training).

 

Whilst the inspection training enables a company to inspect their racking internally, identify defects and manage safety offloads. The maintenance training teaches the delegates how to to carry out a safe replacement of the damaged component in a managed manner that saves both time and cost for the site.

All of our courses are run at your site to both reduce the disruption to the operation of your business and to eliminate travel / accommodation expenses. The training tends to take 5 to 6 hours with breaks although this differs by group depending on interaction and the experience of the delegates.

Below is additional information on some of the different types of inspection we offer.

RACKAWARENESS TRAINING

​

On the day each delegate will receive a comprehensive guide which they can use for reference both on the day and going forward. There will be a classroom based theory part to the day which is followed by an open book exam, for this part we encourage group working as the delegates will be working as a team managing the racking and we believe collaboration is always positive when it comes to safety. 

 

There will also be a practical aspect to the day where the delegates are taken into the warehouse and a 'practice' inspection is carried out as a group. The delegates will be shown how to reference the damage on inspection sheets and they have the opportunity to apply the information they have been given throughout the day.

RACKAWARE MAINTENANCE TRAINING

​

On the day each delegate will receive a comprehensive guide which includes safe operating methods and risk assessments for all tasks. There will be a classroom based theory part to the day where the delegates will be taken through essential safety procedures such as; correct PPE, exclusion zones and necessary pallet offloads. 

 

There will also be a practical aspect to the day where the delegates are taken into the warehouse to complete certain maintenance activities under the guidance and supervision of the course tutor.
